Becky and Max got married at the stunning Mitre Hotel in London. In the morning, I arrived and met Becky and her bridal party in a beautiful room overlooking Hampton Court Palace. One of the best features of the room was the gorgeous four poster bed which was the perfect space for these bridal party shots.
The ceremony space was amazing and every seat in the room was filled with their friends and family who were all so happy to watch Becky and Max say I do.
Outside, following the ceremony, Becky and Max had their confetti moment followed by a glass smash as a nod to Becky’s Jewish heritage.
Their wedding day was full of love and joy from all of their family and friends. There were some beautiful moments on the day paying homage to Becky’s father who sadly passed away. Becky, her uncle, her new husband and her sister all shared some special words about Becky’s father and how proud he would have been, including some funny stories about the first time he met Max.
The groom gave his speech down by the river where he shared some thank you's, lovely memories and stories and he finished off with a special pregnancy announcement that the couple were expecting their first baby!
During the wedding day, the photographer and I, along with Becky and Max, took a gorgeous boat ride along the River Thames. It was such a lovely opportunity for the bride and groom to share a bottle of champagne and have some time to themselves away from the busy wedding day and an amazing chance for some unique shots. During the boat ride and some couples shots in the city, passers by were waving and congratulating the couple.
One of my favourite shots of the day was the beautiful sunset on the bridge overlooking the River Thames.
In the evening, the celebrations continued with a champagne tower - I'm seeing more of these at weddings and I think they are such a fun moment on the day.
The couple opted for a live band with a saxaphone player which brought so much energy to the evening, including Max and Becky being lifted up into the air on chairs and continuing to celebrate Becky's Jewish heritage.
