Katie and Giuseppe's Wedding Day at Hengrave Hall, Suffolk

Some weddings just hit differently and Katie and Giuseppe’s celebration at the incredible Hengrave Hall in Suffolk was one of those weddings.

This day wasn’t just about two people getting married, but about two worlds coming together. Katie is from England, Giuseppe is from Italy and they now live together in France. So naturally, their guest list read like a European road trip. Friends and family from all three countries filled the stunning grounds of Hengrave Hall for one magical weekend.

The day kicked off in the grandeur of Hengrave Hall’s Banqueting Hall, where Katie and Giuseppe said "I do" during their registrar ceremony. Katie’s mum gave a moving reading that set the tone, emotional, heartfelt and deeply personal.


From there, it was over to the on-site chapel for a traditional Catholic ceremony. This part of the day was full of family love, with Giuseppe’s brother and Katie’s dad giving readings that had everyone reaching for tissues. It was elegant, classic and brimming with warmth.

After the “official bits,” the couple and their guests spilled out into the gardens for confetti, cheers and family photos against the backdrop of Hengrave’s breathtaking architecture. And just when you thought the emotions had peaked, Katie and Giuseppe stole a moment in the chapel later in the day to read their personal vows to each other. The kind of authentic moment that gives you goosebumps.


The reception? An absolute VIBE! The speeches were a whirlwind of French, English and Italian, delivered by Giuseppe, his dad and best men, as well as Katie’s Dad and Sister (who rocked her role as Maid of Honour). It was funny and emotional, in the best ways.

And then came the surprise - I love a wedding day surprise! (Although please let me know surprises in advance so I'm in the best place to capture them!) Giuseppe’s brother sat at the piano and started to sing. Cue everyone jumping to their feet, waving napkins in the air like it was a Mediterranean wedding party, clapping, cheering and really soaking up the pure joy of the moment.
